That just looks too cool.

Are you going to paint the top black?

I got one that has the natural wood look (this one in the pictures) and sold one that was painted white.

Very cool, Franklin!

Phil - one way to do it...

Make your own fingerprint with dark ink on white paper, make a scan or good quality high-res photo, bump the contrast high in a Photo Editor, import the high contrast photo into the Vectric software, Auto Trace, node edit here and there if necessary. Might even offset the vectors a little if you want to "fatten-up" the ridges. Away you go!

Then cross your fingers you're not wanted by any law enforcement organizations that might spot your fingerprint. :D

I can't really comment other than saying it looks well enough made & thanks for sharing

Mind you I am not an artistic person & don't understand most forms of art, lots of people put a lot of effort into removing fingerprints from things so why would you want a flippin great big one hanging on the wall

There is obviously a market for this sort of thing though if you have already sold one

What was the process with the white one? Did you seal & paint the board & then machine it or did you machine & then paint ??

Martin, Martin, Martin. It's obviously the artistic way of saying that humans must put their hands on everything. Nothing is sacred anymore.   That's all I got.
It does look pretty cool though.

Kind of makes me think that finger prints are the circuit boards for each individual. Kind of the same but we are all actually wired a little different.

Got me thinking that would be way way cool to create a plaque with any persons last name. Then Get a fingerprint of every household family member and stack the fingerprints on top of the family name.
Hmmmmmmm now I have to do it.

Ok, we watch those home buying TV shows, yanno, the ones where someone ALWAYS has to say:

"Well Honey, WE can put our 'stamp" on this one..."

Call up the real estate agents in your area, tell them you can now put a huge fingerprint on those fixer uppers!

Franklin,
Since folks at work found out I have a new CnC I have been elected 'going away gift' plaque maker...
Below is the current one I'm working on; it has a fingerprint within the outline of the globe and I'm not real happy with the result. The outer portion is an iris, not wild about that result either lol, but still a work in progress.
Would you be willing to share your design file? I tried methods mentioned but poor results.
Thanks,
Scott
