Week 7 Project Of The Week Series
Well yes another edgelit for week 7 in the series.
This one was done for a good friend. Actually tried a new base type for this one and am really digging the look.
Material: Red Oak sandwiched between a 1/4" piece of acrylic.
Panel is about 11.5" x 7" tall. All panel work was done with and 120 ° brass bodied diamond drag bit.
Base oval was cut with a 1/8" EM for all accounts the Oak and Acrylic pieces.
No finish on this one as the person it was for chose to do the finish work himself.
Really like the looks of this type of base and have some future plans for some different variations.
Thanks for looking and its a wrap for week 7.
Peace out.

Re: Week 7 Project Of The Week
Thanks for posting that Dwayne!
Came out NICE, and the sandwiching gave me an idea I'll play with for some 3' LED strip lights that are just too darn bright to use except in garage and maybe the shop.
Of course, I should steal a page from Frank Lloyd Wright, and have a dozen acolytes following me around to actually DO the followup work to get my ideas DONE!
7 ideas I can do before my second cuppa....1 follow through can take me a month
NICE projects!
