Week 4 Project Of The Week

Post by dwilli9013 »

Week 4 Project Of The Week Series.
Week 4 project is an Edgelit for a retired Navy brother.
Mixed it up on the base on this one with V-Carved letters and 2 3D dished Anchors from Aspire Clipart. Base material is Red Oak finished with 3 coats of shellac light sand between coats followed by 2 coats of hand rubbed Bri Wax. All panel was done with 90° degree diamond drag bit. Panel graphic provided by the Veteran. Sorry for all the edgelits in this series thus far but I have been getting a lot of requests for these.
Thanks for looking and week 4 is a rap.

Looks great, Dwayne! I'm not the least bit tired of edge-lits!

Nice work Dwayne.

It's difficult to see on the picture, but I guess you used a very small stepover and the engraving time was important.
Best regards
