Wedding Box
Simple box from cedar milled last summer. Box holds the two champagne flutes used at my sons wedding held here at the house late last year. Design is the wedding invitation with Marsh stencil ink sprayed in the carving. Used the internal compartments from the original boxes to hold them and box was made to fit the holders. Fun project. Plan is to leave it unfinished.

Re: Wedding Box
Very nice. Did you mask the ink before spraying, or sand after, or both? Interesting on raw cedar.

Re: Wedding Box
No mask or sealer before carving. Just sprayed it with the ink, let it dry in front of a heater for about 10 minutes, then sanded off the surface. The cedar is pretty soft so didn't take a lot of sanding and held the detail better than expected. Thanks for the nice comments.
