I just finished this urn for my wife's cousin who passed away around thanksgiving.
It is made with aeromatic cedar which smell wonderful when it cut.
I am pleased the way it turned out. I will be sending it to Wisconsin on
monday

That's a beautiful urn! Tell us what other woods you used to contrast and offset the aromatic cedar.
Did you apply any finish to the urn?
Thanks,
J

Hello Jim
I used Purple Heart for the rose and I used oak for the heart.
I would rather use maple for the heart but I didn't have any
on hand at the time I was making the box. Sorry for the late
reply
