new tileable pattern
This is new tileable pattern that is vcarved in Mesquite (4.5x6.6"). I also think this particular design could be scaled up to make a nice wall hanging. It's just a vcarve toolpath(s) so it could be done in VCP as well. cheers!

Re: new tileable pattern
Thanks a LOT Nick.....
started thinking what that would look like with say the say the Whiteside .5" Pointed(NOT) Round Over bit and partially carved on the outside with the Fluting Toolpath.
Without caffeine!!!
I hope I won't be cross-eyed All day!!!
What bit are you using(I can't quite tell)?
You're having fun with these!

Re: new tileable pattern
greetings. I use a 3/8" 60 degree V-bit on most of these. 0.1" depth of cut.scottp55 wrote:Thanks a LOT Nick.....

yeah, I've developed quite an interest in 3d illusion and OP ART patterns.

Nice work. I'm interested in a little more detail on how you did the design? what clip art? etc? Thanks.

google OP ART or search for same in Pinterest. You'll get millions to choose from. Look for the things that are line patterns in black and white. If any adjustment to the pattern is needed, use your favorite vector graphic software (I use Corel Draw).George B. wrote:Nice work. After that it's just using the bitmap conversion feature in VCP/Aspire. In most cases the Vcarve toolpath will give you what you need. cheers!
