Wedding Gift Wine Caddy

Well another wine caddy has been released into the wild.
This one done in Aspen. I try to change the finish up on every one of these I do and I believe this is my favorite thus far.
Used Antique Oil Finish on this one 4 coats with 24 hour cure in between each coat. This did not come out overly shiny as the others done in poly but it has a fantastic silky feel to it.
Thanks for looking
Dwayne

Came out great. The finish is perfect for that holder. They'll love it.
Looks like aspen carves well.

That is quite nice. The carving came out beautifully detailed.

Thanks both of you.
Yes Aspen carves quite well you just have to brush the fuzzies with and stiff bristle brush and watch the bit speeds it will burn in a pair of seconds.
.03 rad tapered ball nose brings out the detail quite nice but does add the time. Worth the trade off as I am not doing production runs on these.

Looks very nice! Good finish, very detailed. What bit did you use for the "Established Oct 6, 2017"? Looks really tight in there.

I LIKE it. Did you design it or is the pattern available?

Thank you I used an Amana Tools Carbide insert bit Engraving - 30 Deg Tip 0.02 Flat- 0.25 inche shank. These are my go to bit for tight areas. For extreme detail I will go with an 1/8 inch 60° v-bit.

Thank you. The plaque outline is an Vectric clipart in Aspire as are the grapes and the flourish around the last name. all I added was a 2 rail sweep around the glass holder slot and a 2 rail sweep around the bottle hole.

Then my final toolpath is to cut the slots for the glass holders and the hole for the bottle neck. Brand it and send it on its way.
