Help Yourself Market

Post by Creation in Wood »

I volunteer at the local food bank (Tri-Lakes Cares). I made the sign for the Help Yourself Market area, where clients come in and are able to pick out there own food from what is available that day.

Size: 42" x 24" x 3/4"
Software: Aspire 9.010v
Finish: Milk Paint & Cat Varnish
Wood: Alder

That's a unique background texture, Doug. At first site, I thought you were using particle board.

Great job, as usual, on the finishing. I have yet to try that milk paint method you had told me about.

The back ground is a Vectric Clip Art (Leaves)
Dave, you need to try the Milk Paint. The colors are great and it is easy to use and no wast.
Thank You
Doug

Great job Doug!!!

I really like the background, very inventive.

I haven't tried the milk paint either, just another method to put on the list.

John

You should try Milk Paint. You will like using it.
Milk Paint is the only paint that I use. You can leave it on the shelf for 100 years and it is still good to use.

There are two manufacturers
Old Fashion Milk Paint - pastel colors
Real Milk Paint - Bright colors
Thank You
Doug
