Was this a relatively new school or just a great team? A lot of records broken.

About 10 years ago, one of my son's was on such a team. School was almost 100 years old, but they had a unbelievable season, 28 -4 section champions. My son got the single season doubles and RBI records. 8 players went on to play Div. 1 college and 5 played in the minors. No major leaguers though. Great times.

redwood;
school system started in 1856, myself and wife raised 4 sons all in to sports, now we have 6 grandkids all playing sports, one 16 yr old is 6'6", yup its basketball in his future, Plays on a summer tear called Greenwood Elite, one of top teams in the US. Our fifth grade grandson just played in the Nationals over the weekend and took 1st place in 3 point shooting. It's been a great ride so far :)
