Those turned out great Scott! It's always fun to see what you do as you work in a different (tiny) world than the rest of us!
Nice design Michael!

Thanks guys!
Scaring myself though:)
Was running it about 4X bigger, and stuck a Chinese .25MM Radius TBN in, and computer did toolpath in 10 minutes, plugged the same bit as these key fobs in, and 45 minutes later my stripped down Win7 control computer is STILL chewing on it!!
It's a Bubinga(I think) birthday present for a friend....but the time will probably scare me silly! :)
We'll see what the guys at Leo's say on Saturday.

Scott, I always enjoy seeing what you're up to. Your work is fantastic and your finish work is something I can only dream to achieve someday.

Wish I could be the on Saturday to meet everyone and see you newest work in person.

Thanks John!
How are those Bloodwood "Tree" fobs holding up in Texas heat?
I always worry about oils "bleeding" when sending something South.

Took an hour for the max res toolpath with the 30engraving bit with .005" flat to calculate....21:40:03 OUCH!
THEN I previewed it over that Chinese .25MM R TBN....AND without having the tool shown...I COULDN'T SEE A DIFFERENCE!!! :D :D :D
A slightly over 5 hour cut I MAY be able to squeeze in tomorrow while getting ready for Saturday if I find the right piece of scrap for that bits first real multi hour test. :)

9.10.17 CLARO DRAGON UNTOUCHED.jpg
HUGE Celtic Dragon!!! :)
Claro Walnut...straight off the machine and only a blast of compressed air.
Cut with that Chinese .25mm R TBN Randall recommended.
Cut against the grain, 90,90,16K no roughing cut.

Thanks guys!
Hard to cut detail that isn't IN the model....and it's GREAT detailed model Michael!
I'm glad you guys are so polite that you didn't say anything about it not being centered....I measured the blank BEFORE I sanded it to 600G, and honest, I was GOING to remeasure it and plug in the new width...but I spaced it :D
Just have to sand some on the strong side, and fair the edges again:(
Next one in Bubinga is .25" bigger Michael....It's HUGE!!!! :) :) :)
