"Thumb" for Kubota BX23 back hoe.
I used Aspire to design this (took three tries to get geometry right). Then cut plywood mockup to get the fit just right. Then sent the .dxf files to a machine shop in Cleveland, TN to laser cut. 3/8” A36 steel cut at 100’’/min. with a 2500W laser. Beautiful cut edge with no draft. Primed, painted, and installed.

Fantastic to see people using the software for other than wood carving etc.
Looks like a very saleable item to me. A retro fitable kit without the added complecation of hydraulics.
I think the property owner with their own Kubota would pay good money for that attachment.
