Ripple Serving Boards

Post by weirdbeard »

Hi All, some more of my work. Serving boards with built in bowl and ripple

I have even managed to sell a few of these as wedding presents with the happy couples last name engraved and filled with epoxy resin

I do love the Jarra one, lovely deep colour.
I have a question, I have always wanted to do a ripple effect board/wall hanging. how did you make the effect?.
Do you two rail sweep it?.

regards

Brian

The moulding toolpath would work for this and be cut faster than a 2 rail sweep.
Good judgement comes from experience.
Experience comes from bad judgement.
