Re: Plywood clock
I thought the first picture was of a wall clock and was very impressed with its simplistic design. The full view pictures were impressive, but I still like my first impression best. That is what I am going to use for a design on my next wall clock.

The present generation won't be able to tell the time without numbers. I know for a fact that there are some that can't read an analog clock WITH numbers!FixitMike wrote:I thought the first picture was of a wall clock and was very impressed with its simplistic design. Very nice. I like the clean line modern look.
I feel the numbers may take away from the design.
Thanks for sharing

Those tab slots do look very square. In any event its a nice design.

Re: Plywood clock
You can get very close to square corners if you use a 1/16" end mill. They are available in lengths up to 5/16" long. The thin layers present more options for flat cut joinery than thicker materials and larger/longer bits would have.

Hi Franklin,
I'm a new worker with a CNC. This cnc is for machining aluminum and makes silkscreen printing.
I would like to test this machine with a very soft material like wood and cut a practical object.
I like your clock. You still have files and you will be able to send them to me.
I could not create a PM because I am new to the forum and this possibility is still forbidden to me.
Thank you
François
