Simple stand

Post by highpockets »

Needed a quick stand for the Tree of Life project. Nothing spectacular just something to hold it up.
Thought I'd share the design in case someone needed a quick and simple stand.

Very nice, and thank you! I needed a handful of stands for 14" plaques, and they were expensive! This plan will help a lot.

This will be very usefull.
Where are you getting the tiny hinges and screws?
I always have a bear of a time finding the smaller hardware.
Thanks for sharing.

Dwayne,

The hinges were from stock, but I think they came from either Hobby Lobby or Rockler. A lot of times if I need "cheap" small hinges I'll go to Hobby Lobby and just by one of the $1.00 small wood boxes, they come with hinges and a latch. I'll take the hinges and latch off and throw the box in the junk bin.
