First post of some early 3D work I did.

Postby Ferry Winkler » Thu Feb 16, 2017 4:22 pm

Hello I am Erik Winkler from the Netherlands Europe.
I work at Dekoratie Studio Ferry Winkler http://www.ferrywinkler.nl for the signmaking
and for the special handcraft work at Schitterend http://www.schitterend.eu/en
We recently bought the Aspire software after learning it through and through for a long while.
Here a sign I made using aspire, foam, paint and bronze coating.
I got the 3D file online, and the bronze coating is developed and made inhouse with the custom made patinas.
If you like it, I can post some more projects I did.

Holding the bronze plaque in the sun, looks all shine and strangly very light weighted

The finish is fabulous!. The contents of the sign looks pretty brutal. I also like the winkler sigh up on the wall.
Great job, pot more.

Thank you very much.
The Winkler sign on the wall was a sandblasted wooden sign.
This technique was what trickered me to explore the 3D techniques.
Maybe you can see that the Winkler text is gilded with golleaf and looks pretty dull, because it has no relief.
I realised that and it started from there.
Will post another 3D project today.
