This was my first try at 3D design. A friend requested I make a Boy Scout Logo for a Life ceremony that was coming up in less than a week. I agreed but told him it wouldn't be quite as detailed as I would like.
In order to reduce the cut time I went with a finish path using a 1/4" ball nose bit instead of the 1/16" I planned to use for finish passes. This cut the machine time from 7 hours to 1.75 hours.

Here's a model of the same thing I did a few years ago. I used it as an inlay for a box top for a retiring scout master.
