Navy "penny" board

Post by Turtle49 »

My 8th grade son is learning to run Aspire. He designed up this skateboard in honor of his brother (currently serving). Before cutting it out of 1/2" thick Baltic birch we painted both sides with Navy blue spray paint. I did a little tweaking on the file for cutting efficiency, but I think it turned out very cool! He did a good job. :D

Way cool and it's really nice that your son is interested in what your doing. My son not so much but my grandson has been coming to the shop and loves it. I hope to encourage him to take on a few challenges when he get's older. He's only three. Right now his visit consists of playing with my clamp blocks and scrap geometric scraps.
