photo to engraving

Post by cottagecraftsman »

I've been posting these to Facebook, but haven't here yet.
This is an ongoing project to effectively transform a photo to a true 2.5d carving from 3/4" to 1 1/4" in depth.

Nice, have you carved one yet? How large will the finished project be?

Nice project. I have been trying to figure out how to do a photo carve of my niece.
What process did you use to create the 3d Carved image?
Thank You
Doug

Hi,

Same question as Doug.

As I understand it, you have a specific process to transform any picture into a 3D bas-relief?

Or did you "simply" use the usual process of bas-relief designing in Aspire?
Best regards

Didier
