Here's some shots of my newest sign. it's going to be used at the display center for a custom molding shop. (i also work for the company, so no big paycheck on this one...) I used the texture function to do a chip carved background for depth, raised models for the lettering and saw blade, and of course imported a wood image for inside the M. and v-carved the company logo into the saw blade.
used 1/4 ball nose for clearance, an 1/8 ball nose for detail, a 45 degree v-carve bit and set an outside cut on the letters and saw blade to clean up the edges due to step over in the 3-d carve. and of course made and painted in the private shop the company has given me (includes an axyz 7012 6 foot by 12 foot cnc) any wonder i love working here?
