Cannon and cannon balls
This is my attempt at the cannon that was shown in an earlier post. I added the rammer and a stack of cannon balls. The cannon was cut from fir dimension lumber and the balls from 1-1/2" thick lumber. I cut each layer using two sided methods and then glued the layers together. Painted with oil based exterior paint. Trunnion hold downs are made from paperstone for strength.

Re: Cannon and cannon balls
Reminds me of the cannons at Trophy Point at West Point. Very cool.

The files were from a previous post on this forum. I appreciate the person who contributed them. It makes a nice addition to our front lawn.

I LIKE it. I thought of the Cannon Balls and rammer after I made the cannon. I'll have to give it go. NICE work!!! REALLY NICE.
