All my neighbours scoop their dogs...there's even a sign to remind folks. That works pretty well. Nothing worse than walking down your street (unpaved country road) and stepping in "it". New folks move in and they have a horse. No signs for scooping horses. And they leave their "stuff" all over the road. I can appreciate that they would need a very, very large doggie bag but come on...that's quite a pile.

But I still love my country life...even with the large piles.

You are talking about the large piles of horse droppings aren't you Mitch..... Not your own large piles coz you can get crean to help with those (allegedly)

Oh almost forgot, great project love to do something like this at some point, made a few ships cannons myself when I was in the Royal Navy, not that large though, these were only about 6" in length & normally made as leaving presents for Officers. Most parts turned on a lathe (no cnc back then lol)

 Good one Martin...and thanks...I'll get more cream (it's almost bike season so I'll stock up). :D

Was just looking at the files last night, setting them up for my Stinger 1 and adjusting tooling. Then I'll need to determine amount and sizes of wood I'll need.

Dave did a good job on the files...easy to understand and well laid out. THANKS!

Hi Dave.
Your emails accidentally ended up in the junk mail folder and got deleted.
Can I please ask you to send them again?

Anyone make a cannon yet? The guy at work I made this for is almost done putting his touches on it. As soon as I get his photos, I'll post them.

Hi Dave...was side tracked but while busy I managed to work the files over to match my smaller Stinger 1 and tool bits. She's now running the cuts. Is slower for me as I only do this in the evenings but I have the chassis cut now and the first of the four 2x6s done.

Can't wait to start assembling.

The only piece I see missing is the large dowel to fit the hole so once assembled, I'll measure and cut.
