WOW That's impressive! Did you happen to track overall machining time on that? Incredible job.

Excellent job! I'm building a larger CNC, roughly 54x54 cutting bed, but that big sign wouldn't fit in my Green Monster.
Did you cut the tiles, then assemble them all together? That had to be nerve-wracking!

P.S: If you put a coat of primer and then satin pure white paint in that shop, it will give you twice the light you have now without any additional fixtures. I did my floor white, too. Finding dropped hardware is a cinch now. <g>

I built the first one on my Shark Pro HD, so it was made up of 16 tiles with 3 tool changes at each tile set up. total carving time was at 40 hours.

The 2nd one was carve in my CNC Router parts 4896. It was carve in two tiles, so only two set up and 6 total tool changes. it ran for just over 12 hours of carving time. Painting took about 4 hours and hand finish carving adds another 4 or 5 hours. .... than there is all the set up and milling and etc......
