3D masks

Post by stankern »

african masks
these were *.stl files used butternut wood a bit over 2in thick and end mills 3 in long to get the clearance
they take about 46 min to 55 min cnc time
The dust collector housing rides close to the work so you have to watch it doesn't hit

NICE Stan! Not my Taste but very nice workmanship! How's butternut to work 3D? Got some, but all I've done is surface some. Makes shop smell good :)
I've learned my lesson well. You can't please everyone,so you have to please yourself

butternut is like a brown basswood, machines ok one side smooth smooth ,the other hairy like basswood
Does smell good ,not like old musty basswood.
The *.stl files were googled and free for the download
I saw these in a sharon stone movie, she had them all lined up on a coffee table, i liked the look so i made 4
