Model T & TT Toy Trucks

Postby dhellew2 » Fri Mar 07, 2014 5:52 pm

These are the first two completed toy trucks along with the 'photo model'. These were created before the recent addition of wheels with spokes. Dale

Stay tuned, I will be posting the files soon. The headboard for the flatbed is made using indexing pins and cutting on both sides. The flatbed and dump truck bed includes the bed rails, the dump truck sides are cut pockets. Dale

The delivery van has hidden holes drilled in the body to reduce the weight.
The flatbed has 2" spoke wheels.
and... below are some files for some of the truck parts for the flatbed and dump truck.

Mine are not painted either. All natural cull lumber wood (mostly pine) with a Tung or Olive oil finish. Both add a nice amber tint to the wood.
The olive oil is polymerized using the microwave.
