Heisenberg night lights

Post by Xxray »

Went on a breaking bad marathon recently, and was inspired to make a couple of night lights of the notorious Walter White aka Heisenberg.

They are about 4x4" and made out of corian of course. I like them both, one is brighter than the other because it is not mounted in the night light yet and is in front of a big bulb, compared to the dinky night light bulb. Bulbs are never the ideal solution to backlighting as they always leave a hot spot, not sure what the ideal solution would be for something this small.

Yeah, I was impressed with the detail as well [not always am]. Small as they are, took about 2 hours each so thats probably why.

Don't care for the dent in his head on the first one though, didn't notice it before I cut it but thats the way it is in the pic

Probably meant to be a shadow

I don't really, though any plug would do.

I'm in the habit of making stuff just because I can, and possibly sell or give away somewhere down the line.

Ha! I think that’s what happens with all the Aztec calendars folks make, too! :D
