Great work guys.

Brian, correct me if I am wrong. but isn't that the first ever piece from a Vectric employee to grace the Vectric forum ? Looks great.
Glad to see that Shopbot getting used :P

Hi Kent,

We posted a fair bit of stuff when we first started, mostly cut on a Roland EGX 600 we had on loan at that time. Since then we've enjoyed sitting back and seeing what you guys post :-). I have a couple of other projects I posted on the Beta forum last year, I'll post those up here too.

My wife loved it, though she didn't have it for long as I've brought it into the office this morning to show everyone :D . I've been warned that I need to bring it home tonight though ...

Hi to all
I did make the''ycmh'' project ,but used MDF for a trial, that was the only thing i had on hand.I did a french version of it,and a friend of mine bought it. The next one would be done with real wood, probably oak.Thank you again Mr.Tyler

Good evening I'm trying to figure out why during the roughing section of the project I get 58% completed and then machine just bores through the project board, spoilboard and cnc table bed! :( I'm using a Shark hd4 cnc with Aspire. thanks

Electrical interference from a vacuum? Failure of the Shark's controller? Bit loosened and slipped out down from collet? Lots of possibilities to consider and check.

Sorry to hear about the disaster!

“I get 58% completed and then machine just bores through the project board, spoilboard and cnc table bed!”.

This happened to me once with the Shark’s little brother, Pirhana on a different project. I could read that there was nothing wrong with the GCode, so I ran the project again and it was fine. I can only think it is inadequate shielding of the cables to the stepper motors.
