I was asked by my sister-in-law if I would make a box to put my nephews ashes in for his funeral service.
Of course I said yes and ask her what he liked to do and she said he loved to 4 wheel in his Jeep. He also loved the Arizona mountains. He was only 30 years old.
I didn't have much time so I made a paradise box which I've made many so I knew it wouldn't take too much time.
I next day aired it to her yesterday for the services tomorrow. She got it and loved it.
Thanks to Michael Tyler Vectric project of the month for such a great design.
Mark

You did a masterful job as usual. I'm very sorry it had to be created under those circumstances. This will be a treasured memorial for the family forever.

Re: Paradise box
Thank you Michael,
Making the Paradise box can be use for all occasions both happy and sad. It can be decorated in so many ways to be tailored to every occasion.
It will last forever and hopefully make the person receiving it enjoy it more as time goes on. I spend more time thinking about what someone would like on the box than actually making it.
To me it is a must make project of the month for the new and old CNC users.
