models in aspire

Post by gravirozo »

hello all

as everyone experience it, with aspire we got some exceptional tool...
however it can turn against us... on the net more and more company place next their products meshfiles, stlfiles... and those loaded in aspire could be milled out...

those products, in their electronic form, they are copyrighted... if we were download them, even sign on those sites up, we can ending up some difficulties...
on the first picture is a model from a collection... well... it's looks okay...

on the second, i made a close similar, with onlay from vectorart site... since this model doesn't contain any digital information of the original so there's no issue with copyright...

the model i made about 3 hour long... with experience it can be faster... i believe the main body can be made a short half hour... so with a little work we can get any model and we can void issues on copyright...

on the second example i imported a full 3d model and stretched out to relief...
many site sells cars and similar models as popular symbols...
to make them as full model difficult and not necessary always...
during the stlimport i """turned out"" from the original position and reduced the z dept to a reasonable z height...
in aspire modelarea i placed a block around with merge option and set it's height, combined with tilt and fade option within a 15-20 min i created a relief...

thanks
viktor
