I have been watching the online Aspire tutorials. Is there a way I can download these so I can watch while I travel this weekend?

Thanks

I'm afraid not at the moment. We compressed them into Flash movies to get them up on the web-site and the browser wont let you download them by default. We will look at getting a download option set up when we get time to look at it.

Sorry

If you are using Firefox get the get the add on called Flashgot

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/220

Open the page the video is on, right click and select Flashgot All.
From the drop down menu select the video radio button.

Make sure you have audio and video ticked, choose a save location and that's it.

I recently downloaded several tutorials but am unable to open them. Each time I try a message appears asking if I want the program to make changes to the computer. I click yes and another message pops up. It says welcome to the tutorial setup wizard and asks me to click next. That takes me to the license agreement. I click agree and the next pop up says choose components. There is a blank box, with no component list, and below "install" is highlighted. I click install and the last pop up says that I have successfully installed the tutorial on my computer and to click finish to close the wizard. The tutorial does not start and doesn't give a hint to where it is going. I can't find any where in my PC. I suspect 1) that there is a compatibility issue, 2) there is operator error, 3) they did not download at all. I am using windows 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated because number 2 is very likely the problem.

TIA.
Dave

They are installed in the "Public Documents/Vectric Files/Tutorial Files" folder. However if you use the Tutorial Video Browser from within the Aspire/VCarve/Cut2D Help menu or startup screen it will play the tutorial from the downloaded file rather than going to the internet for it.

You can tell if the tutorial has been downloaded as the Files section above the video has a View Files link rather than a download one.

Thank You Adrian. They were right where you said after I installed them from the disc. I knew operator error was the most likely culprit.
