Here is a viking mug I made for game nights, renaissance festivals, octoberfests, etc.
I bought the viking face model on Etsy.
* A series of 10 rings were cut, pinned and glued together to create the mug. The bottom ring has a lip to prevent the tumbler from sliding through.
* The mug handle resembles an ax. Two rings were notched, so that the ax handle could be glued in place.
* The viking face was cut and then glued to the front of the mug. I would have liked to have cut the face directly into the mug but my machine doesn't have the height to do so.
* I used the tumbler as an insert as it keeps your cold drinks cold and your hot drinks hot. I also like that it can be removed to be washed.
