I have noticed an inconsistency in whether my Aspire files show a preview or not since I upgraded recently to Windows 10 and Aspire 9. Some files generate a preview for the files (Extra large icons is turned on) whereas others do not. Do I need to change a Windows 10 setting or Aspire setting to make sure a preview is generated?? Related, when I save an Aspire file is there a logic I need to be aware of as to when Aspire generates a preview and how it chooses between generating the preview from the 2D or 3D window
Thank you for any insights as to how this feature works.

Re: File showing contents
What are you seeing on the files without a preview? An large Aspire icon or a blank? Are they newly created files or ones that were created with a previous version and resaved?
Have you tried re-installing the thumbnail extension? That usually sorts out preview problems. Run the VectricShellSetupExt file in the Aspire program folder.

Seeing the Aspire logo. Ran that extension file and all is now well
