8.517 patch

How do I get the 8.517 patch on my 8.5 version? I downloaded the patch and it's in my download file. Do I have to reboot for it to take or ......?
Did you try the update from the Check for Updates on the Help menu? That's the easiest way.
Otherwise if you've downloaded the patch separately just double click on it to run it and the install will start from there.
