Bending a celtic knot

Hi.

I am very new to Aspire. Using it on a windows 7 machine and will be cutting on a homemade CNC running under Mach3.

I have reviewed the celtic knot videos and it looks pretty easy. What I'm looking to do it to take a celtic knot, lets say 1"x12" in size and have it follow a curve of arbitrary shape. To make it easy, lets say I generate the knot design and want to bend it about half of a circle 24 inches in circumference.

Stated another way, lets say I want to make a small end table with a circular top and want celtic knotwork carved around one half of the perimeter of the table top and maybe something else carved around the other half. This is the kind of effect I'm shooting for.

I'm assuming that once I know how to do this I can use the same technique for any 1x12 curve I want to make follow another curve.

Thanks,
Steven

You can use the distortion tool to bend a model/vectors around a curve or bend it by hand using the nodes on the bounding box.
