Rolling the edge of a patch

Post by crash5050 »

I am making a patch for a friend of mine, and I was wondering how to make the edges of the vector rolled around the edges?

The easiest and fastest way is use a plunge profile round over bit. Draw a vector around the patch allowing for the desired radius then cut on the line using the profile cut. Dale

Thanks you for asking the question. We all learn from each other. :D
I should have added; when the edge is textured such as it would be if it were embroidered patch create an outline of the patch and the profile cut will resemble the texture rather than just be a straight round-over cut. Dale
