been using my shopbot for 8 years. I have a chance to run a laguna machine brand new with a 8 tool changer and a 12hp spindle and a huge vac setup. plus waterjet. using aspire on the laguna will make life much easier and shorten the learning curve. I just need to learn how the machine operates. I use so many different bits on the shopbot from 1/16" to 1" and the 1/16" to 1/2" I have up and downcut straight and bullnose and o-flute lost f other bits too. but the big machine mostly will be split wood and plywood and inlaying metal into the plywood. I need to learn how practical it is to use bits not in the tool changer how fast it can cut practically as solid wood is not going to cut as fast as plywoods. anyone have any tips or idea's?
