JPG to positive 3d

Post by eagle-for »

Hi All
New guy here, I have tried to do my homework and find the answer myself but... I have taken a JPG photograph of an eagle, turned it into a component under the modeling tab. I have tried using the properties function etc and I can't get the subject to be raised, ie the eye and beak are indented. Is using the create shape my only option as I saw in the Bass Vedeo?
Thanks for the help?
