For me, it is trial & error - If you don't swing, you won't get any hits.

This particular goofup was so messed up I considered it spectacular, and saved it for posterity instead of tossing it in the scrap pile.

I AM trying, but for some strange reason, I get a blank page every time I try to post pictures :(
