When I do a two rail sweep, the cutting path 'bleeds' onto the waste area of the material. This makes for long tooling calculations, excess cutting paths and impossible clamping issues for two sided carving. My work around is to offset a smaller area for carving so the waste area is ignored. This makes 2 sided referencing a bit more complex and it still sets us passes over area I don't want to process on work that is not rectangular.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you used a zero plane in your model and set the offset in the actual roughing and finishing tool paths?

Did you set a boundary vector just around the carved area and select it before doing the calculations? Your carving should not "bleed" into areas you don't want it to as long as you set the boundary vector properly.
