The cone that protrudes out of the in the center that is bent out of shape .
Just like my belly in the middle... unlike me I think simple mold 3 parts might enable me to
reset it to its original form :)

its suppose to smooth out frequency from the driver/speaker

Don't they sell the cone?

If you wanted to you could make a cone by milling it and then fitting the old one over it or slip the cone into the existing paper. I would be concerned of damaging what is around it.

Kent,
From the looks of the speakers you might be able to get away with just an internal cone to form the wizzer when wet as the base is trapped below and it seems if you only wet the damaged areas the internal form would push them back into shape without an external form. Never tried anything like this but perhaps that could be attempted and if needed then the external form could be made? Good luck with this and keep us informed what you end up doing and how it works.
Wes

Thanks for the idea Wes. I won them on ebay waiting to get them then will give it some more thought. might cut it off reshape and then glue back .

sailfl the speaker/drivers are from the 70's I doubt can get exact replacement . I always try to keep everything original if I can .

they will more then likely end up in a DIY speaker setup mishmash of drivers from different speakers I happen to have extras of .

I wonder if you could use a fabric steamer, that way it won't get too wet or take long to re- set the shape?
