The all new "Round Corner Drill"

Post by John Murphy »

I would like to introduce the new "round corner drill" Have you ever wanted to drill around corners, but where too busy to do another setup, then this is the tool for you. Just chuck it in your spindle collet, and drive it home.

Only one available at this time, but I can probably make more!

where is your website? how much for one? is it possible to get different angle configurations?

Put it up on eBay, someone will sure as heck buy the thing.

Looks good John, but I am still looking for one to drill offset holes to make my bolt holes line up correctly ...

These need to be made out of HSS. Boring bits seem to work the best (for me, the expensive carbide tipped boring bits seem to work very well). Solid carbide will simply break. Strategically placing a clamp in the path of a transit move, or misplacing your Z0 seem to be effective manufacturing techniques.
