using aspire for editting --3D horse ro 2d and back to 3D

Post by stankern »

Found a 3d horse file and after much work I was able to convert each piece to a *.dxf file format and cut it on the laser.
This particular file was very troublesome, (and very large like 300in x 500 in ,it was probably metric )i have done many of these but it was never a lot of editting as this was.
Its not perfect but ok.
I like these files, i like the 3d to 2d and back to 3d
Used aspire after i was able to get the file format to *.dxf

I bought my son a Plasma Cutting Table for Christmas and I'm showing him how to use Aspire to edit vectors and export as AI files. A bitmap of a horse was traced, along with a Vector Art 3D file of a Manzanita tree was used for this recent file of a horse to be cutout for a metal gate.
