Radian Vs Degee in gagets

Post by Dclifton2 »

I have been tiring to explain why they should let you have a choice in unit of rotation Radian vs. Degree. If you have a feed rate of say 100 units per min/sec (inches, mm, degree or radian) in degree it will only allow for your indexer to revolve 1 time in 3 ½ minutes vs. 7 time a minute with radian. Another way they could resolve the problem is to give A axis its own feed rate.
Thanks

If anyone know of a better way to explain this to Vectric please do.
