I've received and installed Aspire on my machine and have not been able to find the free models which come with it (this is my 1st non Apple PC). Can someone show me the path to the clipart?
Thanks much...

Thanks...
Yes, I installed the DVD...
I am just not used to the Window format and did not realize those would not be installed at that time.
Also, I see when you click on various crv, eps, and other files, you cannot see what it is unless you actually import it. Is there a way to do this, or is this just a feature Windows lacks?
Thanks...

Depends on what the file is and what version of Windows you use. Vista will display most popular file formats with icons but a lot (including eps) still need 3rd party support.
I've noticed that some file types are only supported in large and extra large icon views. The resource hook that Mac's have certainly makes things a lot easier.

Do you have an Intel mac? If you do, via Parallel/Windows, you can run Aspire without any problems. The rest, including file handling is exactly as you would expect it from a mac.johnnydoughey wrote:Thanks...

I have over 20 years and a lot of software invested in my macs, and I have no intentions to stop that advantage now. Illustrator, Vectorworks allow me to create models etc. I do that, because it is familiar territory. I have noticed, however, that Aspire is open on my computer more and more... it just does so much, that the inconvenience of the Windows part seems to become less of a hindrance.

I have Parallel...
I've just been too cheap to spend $300 for Windows XP.
Too bad Aspire doesn't work with Linux. I'd be willing to learn that operating system...

$ 300 for XP?? I paid $ 169 for XP Pro. Registered it, activated it, and ran the updates.
I could have been done for around $ 80.00 for Home XP.
You want to buy an OEM version, not the fancy-pants packaged version.

Theres a link here somewhere of people using Aspire in Linux. Or maybe it was a dream? I'll see if I can find it for you.
