Copying vectors between applications
I had created a design in Vcarve pro and I wanted to work with it in Aspire. So I thought I would select the vectors in Vcarve then copy them over to Aspire, only to find that they would not paste into Aspire. I can export the vectors from Vcarve then use the import function to bring them into Aspire with no problem. But I was wondering why vectors created in Vcarve can not be simply copied into Aspire. Does anyone have the technical explanation for this.

Re: Copying vectors between applications
AJF,
I asked Brian about this and here is the answer he sent me:
"VCP and Aspire have different clipboard formats because Aspire supports many objects which VCP has no understanding of. Aspire can copy vectors and components along with previews etc onto the clipboard so the format for Aspire had to be made different to VCP.
Brian"
So now I simply use the export/import technique that you mention.
