Howdy Aspire experts
I am having problem getting Aspire to make nice lithos. as stated by buck4, They are not as sharp as PVC.
are we doing something wrong ?
If not as I asked in another thread will we be able to import PVC as a component ?
Included is some pictures to show the differences.

Hi Kent,
You can import your PhotoVCarve toolpath data into Aspire in the same way as you could with VCarve Pro. Simply use 'File - Import Vectors' and the toolpath data and a preview will be imported into Aspire.
I will look at the code and see if I can see a difference in the way we handle the images in Aspire and PhoVCarve. One obvious difference is that for PVC there is the option to enhance the contrast which is not available in Aspire.

Howdy Brian ,
I am aware of the import vector that is what I did ( using Aspire instead of VCP now) .
I just think it would be nice to be able to edit the PVC vectors the same way we can 3d files ie use the sculpting tools to remove or fix the little things .This would also enable one to make 2.5d models of any picture or at least basic shape quickly. ( I think )
.
On my example I did not make any contrast adjustments , just the line spacing set it at 15%.
Thanks, as always for your fantastic support .

I like the shape of the bone better . I like the white better for the picture,
only cause logans picture almost looks like he is just white and black.
They both look real good in person . I am now doing an eagle head I am sure it would look better in White ... but as stated only have the bone . will post in the what you making for xmas thread...

Brian,
Has there been any finding on why lithophanes generated in PVC look better than those in Aspire?
