My machine home position

Post by alexm79 »

Hi

My cnc has home position X= 45, Y=45 and Z=-45, how can i work around this in aspire. My Z starts at 0 to -300

Putting home position 0,0,45, will my machine assume the 45 as -45?

Best Regards
Alex

You are interested in the origin settings when setting up your material. If you are in the middle of a square table you can select the origin to be the middle of your part, otherwise I believe you will have to use origin offset feature to make your settings for X and Y. Home Z is easy to set as well. See attached image...
