Model thickness and material thickness

Post by Roscoe »

I was playing around with the sculpting tools (making a shallow bowl shape) and I got an error message noting that the shape was thicker than the model. The depth of the bowl shape was 1/4 inch and the material thickness was set for 1-3/4 inch.

Anybody know what's going on??

I thought the model thickness would be the same as the material thickness. Go figure. If they are different, where can I go to find out what the model thickness is? I already know where to find the material thickness.

Bob click on the bottom right icon under the Modelling Tools ( scale Z). It will let you know what the height is. You can change it from there to match your material being used.

Chuck,
Thanks for your quick reply. I figured there would be an easy solution to this one. That's what makes Aspire such a great program! :D
