I thought the tool paths from the demo files could be cut. I thried using the Mach3 ATC post and got an error that said that the toolpaths used the same tool bit number but different sizes information.....
I hope there is a way to cut this file so I can convince my wife that I NEED to buy this software.
Error with Demo cutting with Mach3
Re: Error with Demo cutting with Mach3
Hi bgriggs,
Looking at the toolpaths in the sample file and all use tool number 1, which is why the software
is stopping them from all being saved into a single file.
You should be able to save each of the toolpaths into individual files by unchecking the
option - Output all visible toolpaths to one file.
The software stops toolpaths that are calculated for different cutters that each have the
same tool number from being saved into a single file. This ensures people actually running
an ATC machine aren't going to have a problem because the correct tool numbers would
not be automatically selected.
I hope this makes sense and it would be great to see the machined job

What are the limitations on the demo version....?
Expiry time? File size? No save? No cut?

The limitations of the Aspire demo are the same as for the VCarve Pro trial.Gnarly Gnu wrote:What are the limitations on the demo version....?

There is no time limit.
You can save your designs from the trial version and load them into the full version on the same computer if you decide to buy the full version.
You can only save toolpaths calculated for a selection of supplied trial files (which are the same as VCarve Pro). You can calculate and simulate toolpaths for your own designs, but you cannot save the toolpaths from the trial version.
