Should or shouldn't I DELETE previous version of Aspire

Post by Desert_Woodworker »

I have V10 currently installed and running- I noticed that I have 4.5, 8 and more until V10. Should I uninstall the previous versions for more computer space or are the previous programs needed to continue to run V10?

The only reason to keep them is if you want to be able to save files as a previous version or you want to help people with older versions. That's the only reasons I keep old versions. Uninstalling them won't affect the latest version and you will still be able to open old files. Best to double check that you have everything you want from the old tool databases/post processors first though.

When you install a new version Aspire asks if you would like to move your settings to new version. Once I make sure everything is good I delete old version.
