Aspire or Vcarve Pro

Post by TFCO »

Hello Everyone

I will soon be in the market to purchase some software. I've been in the cnc world for around 25 years programming and cutting steel for mold etc... I've just got a new Cnc for at home :) I was wondering if someone can point out the strength with Aspire comparing to Vcarve pro.. Is Aspire more for the design process?

Thanks!!

The key thing with Aspire is the ability to create relief-style 3D objects, and to use multiple 3D model files (STL, OBJ, 3DM, SKP etc.) in a single project.

You can start with VCarve and later upgrade to Aspire when you find you have the need for the features. The upgrade price is essentially the price difference between the two products.

Aspire is VCarve Pro with the added ability to design 3D models. You can purchase VCarve Pro and then upgrade for the difference in price if you decide to.

You can also download free trial copies of both programs and do everything except make the file that drives the CNC.
